How to Play
Orbit Pals is a sorting puzzle set among small planets, each carrying a ring of round alien pals around its edge. The goal is to gather every kind of pal onto a planet of its own. When you lift the pals at a planet's edge, the whole matching group comes along, and you then choose where to send them. They may only land on top of their own species or on a planet with nobody on it, and a planet holds just four, so a careless hop can leave a group stranded with nowhere to go. Good play means keeping one planet open as a staging point and thinking a few hops ahead. The bottom bar offers undo, restart, a hint and an extra planet when a layout gets tight. Fresh levels keep arriving, there is a daily puzzle, and a lab lets you mix pals into new hybrids.
Controls
Tap or click a planet to lift the group at its edge, then tap another planet, or drag with the mouse or your finger, to send them there. Undo, restart, hint and extra planet buttons are on the bottom bar.
Tips
- Keep one planet empty for as long as you can, because it is the most flexible move on the board.
- Before lifting a group, check that its destination has enough room for every pal in it.
- Use undo straight away after a bad hop rather than playing on into a dead end.
