How to Play

Cat City is a fast parkour platformer starring a fearless street cat racing across the rooftops of a busy town. Each level is a handcrafted route of ledges, alleys, gaps and hazards, and the cat must make it to the end in one smooth run. Jumping is only the start: a second jump in mid-air lets you correct a short leap, and a quick dash carries you across gaps that a normal jump cannot cover. Combining the two is the key to the trickier stretches. Mistakes are cheap thanks to quick restarts, which encourages trying a tricky section again and again until it finally clicks. Dozens of levels gradually raise the demands on timing and reflexes, and the lively city backdrop makes every rooftop run a pleasure to look at as well as to play.

Controls

Move with A and D or the Left and Right Arrow keys, and jump with W or the Up Arrow. Jump again in the air for a double jump. Double-tap A or D, or the Left or Right Arrow, to dash. On mobile, use the on-screen touch buttons to move, jump and dash.

Tips

1. Save the double jump for correcting short leaps.
2. Dash across wide gaps instead of relying on jumps alone.
3. Restart quickly after a fall and repeat the same section until it feels smooth.
