How to Play

Tidal Kart is a sunny kart racer full of beach buggies, bright tracks and flying coconuts. Choose from six drivers and race across twelve tracks that range from tropical coasts and lava lagoons to neon streets, snowy peaks and cherry blossom roads. Holding a drift through a corner charges a boost that builds through several spark colors, and releasing at the strongest level sends you shooting ahead. Dunes and ramps launch you into the air, where a quick trick earns extra speed on landing. Item crates hand out nitro, rockets, coconuts and shields to use against rivals or for protection. Five modes keep it varied, including Time Trial, Elimination, Battle and a two player mode on the same device, and three rival levels let you choose how fierce the competition should be. Coins earned in races go toward the garage.

Controls

Drive and steer with the Arrow keys or WASD. Hold Shift or Space to drift and release for a boost, and tap it in the air for a trick. Use items with E, X or Enter. Press Esc or P to pause and M to mute. On touch screens, buttons steer, drift, brake and use items, and gas is automatic.

Tips

1. Hold drifts through long corners to reach the strongest boost color.
2. Keep a shield in reserve when racing against Legend rivals.
3. Pull a trick on every jump, since the landing boosts add up over a lap.
