How to Play

Ladderrex is a racing game where the real contest is how well you manage a pile of wood. You run side by side with a computer rival, picking up logs scattered along the track. Every so often a raised platform or a row of spikes blocks the way, and the only way past is to build a ladder from the logs you are carrying. The ladder grows while you build, and stopping at just the right moment is everything, because building too early or for too long throws away logs you could have kept. At the finish line, whoever still holds the most logs takes the win, so a neat, efficient climb is worth more than a fast but wasteful one. Short tracks and quick rounds make it easy to play again and improve your timing with every attempt.

Controls

Click and hold to build a ladder from your logs when you reach an obstacle. Release at the right moment to stop building.

Tips

1. Collect every log you can reach between obstacles.
2. Release as soon as the ladder reaches the top of the obstacle.
3. Watch your rival's pile to judge how carefully you need to build.
